The company’s owner and founder, Anne Marie Champagne, welcomes a select number of short-term, one-off projects as well as longer-term contract assignments requiring reliable and sustained professional support.

Every project I accept receives my singular attention regardless of the project’s size and whether it involves AI language analysis, editing and preparing documents, conducting research, collecting and managing data, providing editorial evaluation, creating graphics, or assisting with research study design.

All clients and projects can benefit from the exceptional range of skills I bring to the table. This range includes the breadth of my knowledge as an Ivy League–trained sociologist specializing in the study of how humans make meaning and, as part of that, understanding how design, language, and story telling shape the way humans interpret and respond to the world. It also includes the unique synergy of my editorial expertise (refined over three decades working in trade and academic publishing), my apprenticeship in the visual arts, and my years of experience as a K–12 and university educator — experience that has granted me compelling insight into the contemporary issues facing youth and adults from different cultural and religious backgrounds and socioeconomic classes.

From a more personal perspective, I love people, and I love seeing them succeed. And because I know that a freelance project is never “just another project,” but rather is the first or further materialization of a dream — a life, career, or company goal, a hope and vision for change — nurturing that dream and helping my clients bring their vision to light, so that it and they may shine brightly, is what excites and motivates me in my work.

Furthermore, as someone who grew up in the Midwest’s “Rust Belt” within the working-class ethos of an Italian-American family, and has spent several years living in parts of New England and the South, I am equally at home in a rural farm town of 300 people as in a major metropolitan city of 8 million. This wide-ranging regional exposure has cultivated in me an open perspective, one that is sensitive to the multifaceted social fabric of the American imagination and landscape. Moreover, I possess a deep respect for and keen interest in world cultures, religions, and geographic regions.

If I were to summarize my key value, I would describe myself as a modern-day “Renaissance Girl Friday.” As a dedicated lifelong learner, I have developed profound knowledge and expertise across a variety of fields. By harnessing this expansive skill set, I am able to deliver expert assistance tailored to each client’s unique needs.
